CAN YOU PERFORM OUTSIDE?

Yes ABSOLUTELY we can.
Please note that if our performance is to take place outdoors, it is essential that we are positioned in a sheltered or covered area. In the event that your venue does not have such a space, we will need to bring our professional-grade, heavy-duty 3x3 metre white gazebo. This is necessary to ensure the protection of our valuable and historically significant instruments during outdoor performances.

Are you able to move from one room to another?

Yes, we certainly can move from one area to another. it take us approximately 5 - 10 minutes to do so

can you travel between the church & the venue?

YES absolutely we can

What do you require on the day?

The only thing we would need please is 4 armless chairs from the venue, because we normally perform sat down

What will you wear on the day?

we normally wear what we would wear IN a concert performance:
- gents: Dinner Jacket, white shirt & bow tie
- ladies: long black dress or smart trousers

Do you have insurance?

Yes we have Public liability insurance (pli) cover for up to 5 million pounds

can we request a song to be arranged?

Yes of course you can, we can arrange that for you free of charge

would you require any food?

this is entirely at your discretion. In the past, some clients have chosen to provide light refreshments when bookings exceed 4 hours; however, this is not required, and there is no obligation to provide food.

do you take any breaks?

if you book us for 1.5 hours or less, we do not take any breaks. otherwise if you book us for 2 hours and above we tend to take a 5 min break every hour

what are the instruments in a string quartet?

2 violins, 1 viola & 1 cello

(TRIO - 2 VIOLINS & 1 CELLO)
(DUO - 1 VIOLIN & 1 CELLO)

are you able to accompany a vocalist or an instrumentalist on the day?

Yes, we can fulfil this request, but it is essential for us to establish communication with the other artist prior to the wedding to finalise the selection of music and arrangement details. Additionally, we would require to rehearse THE PIECE on the day. If an additional rehearsal on a different day is necessary, please be advised that a nominal extra fee MAY incur.

can you accompany the hymns?

For hymn music, an organ is a classic instrument that delivers a powerful and resonant sound, significantly louder than a quartet and enhancing the overall experience of group singing within the sacred space. However, if you prefer a different musical direction, our quartet will be able to accompany the congregation.
